Muradiye Electricity Generation and Trade Inc. began construction in 2007 with the aim of producing electricity—one of humanity’s indispensable needs, increasingly required both globally and in Turkey—from domestic and clean energy sources, and the facility was completed in 2013.

Our primary mission at Muradiye Electricity Generation and Trade Inc. is to expand our product range by diversifying into renewable energy sources (HPPs, SPPs) and to produce clean, fully eco-friendly electricity from renewable resources, thereby contributing to the reduction of the country’s overall carbon emissions. Named after the hydroelectric power plant located in Muradiye district of Van Province, our company operates two HPP facilities: Şelale and Ayrancılar. The plants have a total of 17,707 meters of water conveyance lines and are projected to generate 125 MW of electricity annually.
